Design #20

Here you go Lizzy :) is this what you were talking about? i hope so if not i can retry. I did however enjoy this. I like french tips though because for 1. it makes even short nails look longer than they appear and 2. they look pretty damn simple an elegant and lastly 3. I love that i'm getting better n better at making them cause they aren't simple to do! i mean you'd think it would be! but I don't use TAPE to form a straight line!

This design was simple yet elegant. I was given this idea the other day when I saw my lovely friend Lizzy at her job. I liked how it looked simple but complex. So i thought hey I wanna try that and here it is. Her's were different colors but hey it still works :)

Design #17

QUACK QUACK!!!!
I made duckies for my nails and they can represent many people and many things! to be honest I got the idea from my slippers! They were my sister in law's wedding slippers so she wouldn't get her dress dirty or have to wear heels the whole time plus she's ocd and needed slippers for Vegas.
After i did this the next thing that popped in my head was Pat and Daisy's bathroom decorations! When i had first moved in to their apartment last year! :) I am thankful they easily let me in with no hesitation I really do appreciate them for that. :) So these nails are more so in honor of Pat and Daisy!

Design #15

Nail polish: Base coat: Suflowers-sungold, Tips: China glaze- 846 Robotika, Balloons: (yellow) essence colour & go- 23 sundancer, (blue) China glaze- 650 shower together, (orange) Kleancolor - 19 Neon Orange, Strings: Milani- 37 Black magic

I got the inspiration for balloons because a new baby is being born in the Hansen family. Rob's sister is having a C-section in about 2 hours today. I can't believe they made her not eat for 12 hours before she's STARVING! But Dr's orders, gotta listen.
So balloons? you ask? well I was thinking hmm shes having a BOY and all the things that popped in my mind were more baby girl than boy. So i chose bright baby colors as the balloons to make it more boyish than girly. Hope you all like I'm excited to meet the Rob's new nephew. Good luck with the C-section Chara :) Hope all goes well and a healthy Hansen is born :)

Design #14

Nail Polish: Base coat: Sinful colors- 945 Soulmate, Cupcake bottom: Nyx- NP 93 Iced Coffee, Cupcake lines: China Glaze- 846 Robotika, Cupcake tops: (blue) China Glaze- 650 shower together, (yellow) essence colour &go- 23 sundancer, red cherry dot: Konad-Red

I did the cupcake design it's pretty sloppy. I hadn't known what colors to use so I chose my cousins' Raena and Stella favorite colors as the cupcake tops blue and yellow. I made this design for National Cupcake Day on Facebook. I only did one hand the other hand is just the pink with no design. My hands are to cold to continue painting.

Design # 13

Nail Polish: Base- Konad white, Bow yellow- Essence colour & go: 23 sundancer, Bow black- Kiss Nail art: Black

For the bow design I got the idea from my cousin Raena. She wanted to paint my nails but she didnt like how it kept coming out cause the black was coming out to thick when she was trying to draw with it. So after trying five ties she gave up. She wanted to do bows because that's like her new obsession of accessories she loves how they look.
I really like how this nail design turned out i always thought i'd suck but at drawing any design that wasn't the flower. I might start making more designs like this. Any suggestions on what design to attempt next let me know and you'll be the first to see it before it goes on my blog.
This IS the first time i posted how my nails look RIGHT NOW! Only because I love my cousin to death and she deserves to see me blog about her lovely design idea she gave me. :)

My Tia Jean's nails I did for her. Simple flowers she chose the colors and the design she wanted. I went all the way to where she lived to do her nails. Yupp that's how much I love family and doing nails.

Design #11

Nail Polish: (Main Coat) Really old silver, (tip design) special konad-white, (stike design) Kiss- Black, (dots) special konad-red
Konad Plate - m15

This design was random but I liked it. It reminds me of a Jester! Just because of the red dots on the points of all the stripped designs. Plus the colors somehow remind me of it as well.
The tips were just a trial at first and it realy went well so I kept it there. The old gray silver color use to be my favorite color for my nails cause my mom never liked me wearing black nail polish that was the closest I could ever get.

Design #10

Nail Polish: Base: SinfulColors- 945 Soulmate, Tips: e.l.f.-Mod Mauve, Black tip outline: Kiss- Black, Flower: Color workshop- NBRA, Flower middle: Konad-Black.

I always wanted to try the sharped edge french tips but I don't like just bare nail and tip so I covered my base a pink that I never tried before. I think I'm going to attempt to learn OTHER flowers not just this one now. It's a lovely flower that's REALLY easy to do and I adore it just tired of it after awhile.
The rhinestones on these nails lasted ONE day and night. It was because I kept laying with them cause they felt so weird but great at the same time like nails. I really like how this design came out. It's simple but complex.

Design #9

Nail polish: Base- Wet n Wild: 235 morbid, Middle line under flower- Wet n Wild: 231 Shield, Flower- Konad: White
Konad Plate: m4

I attempted to blend to colors as one to make it seem like the colors changed but I failed because you can't even see the gold stripe under the flower. well at least in the photo. In the light you could sort of tell but not so much because the gold just disappears to well in the green.
The flower design from the konad plate reminded me of Hawaii cause Hawaii has a ton of flowers, although, I've never been there. I'll attempt color blending another time and see if I get it to look better next time.

Design #8

Nail Polish: (main Coat) Color workshop- NBLA, (Design Color) Special Konad- Black

Konad Plate: m4

This nail design is fun. I tried this design on my cousin Raena and it did not want to cooperate and i went home did it on my nails and voila i guess it just didnt like Raena. :/ but then again i did figure out a better technique for it as well. I should my BF Rob the design and asked if he liked it and he gave me a kiss instead. lol even though i was flicking him off. haha :)
I think these would be GREAT valentines day nails. :)

Design #7

Nail Polish: (Main Coat) China Glaze- 650 Shower Together , (Design Color) Really old silver.
Konad plate : m21

I cut my nails before doing my nails. I wasn't thinking straight. But it still came out okay. As you see I used the splatter Konad stamp again. It is my favorite.
I just played with these two colors Blue and gray came out better than I thought it would.

Design #6

These were my FIRST attempt with fake nails. I put them on my cousin Stella. I painted it after I glued them on. I forgot to take photos of her painted nails. I tried to do my nails like hers and failed completely hers came out better. The nails we got were from a beauty supply store by my house and it was like a dollar for the nails and a dollar for the glue. It was fun playing with fake nails for once.

Design #5

As you see not my hand this time. Remember how I said Veni wanted her nails done too? yupp you guessed it this is Veni's nails. I did a simple french tip and blue strikes. She wanted no sparkles so no sparkles for her. She did love her nails.
Its not that hard to do other nails that aren't mines just dealing with little nails is usually what i end up working with, excluding my nails.
It is fun painting other peoples nails. It's like girl bond to sit chat and do nails. Hope to do this again with Veni.

Design #4

When I painted this design I was EXTREMELY bored at my friend Veni's house while she was at the gym. I stayed in her room the whole tme watching Parenthood on Demand. I still need to finish that TV show.
I used one of the nail art nail polishes she had and made the stripe designs. And i love sparkles so i coated the design with sparkle stripes as well.
She cam home and I showed her my nails so she had me do her nails to.

Design #3

I painted these nails with NO Konads. Kinda sloppy but I was satisfied. I was listening to WICKED song's when I painted my nails. Usually I don't use green, but I got to into Wicked to NOT where green. I learned how to make the flowers by going to the nail shop one day and watching the lady paint flowers on my nail. I was amazed by how they did it. It was the first time I ever been in a nail shop to do my nails.

Design #2

Again I can't remember the nail polish colors I used on this design sorry. I did the tip on my own First i coated y nail with the red color and tipped it with the blue and stamped with the konad design on plat m21.
It was harder with this konad design since the flower stems are thin and the nail polish dries up faster and doesn't get picked up by the stamper. For the design I do know I used the Special konad black nail polish. With Konad's black nail polish it get really messy but it's an easy clean up.

Design #1

I did this design a few days before my birthday. I had JUST discovered Konads. They're pretty fun to use but can get really messy. The plate I used was M21 i believe. It's just a splatter. I used the special made black nail polish for konads. It's my favorite design to use. The French tip i did by hand. I used a silvery white, I don't remember what it's called or the brand I'll up that later. It took me about ten minutes or less to finish this design. Konads are a great invention and i hope to buy more plates soon.
